• A study on ‘Identifying potential sub sectors for livelihoods generation’-Aprl& May 2006
• This study was commissioned by Adarsa, (Sambalpur), DSS (Khurda), HRDC (Balasore), Lok Yojana (Kalahandi) and Puspac, Parivartan, SDS & SOMKS (Malkangiri) to identify potential sub sectors in their operational areas where livelihood generation initiatives could be undertaken through self help group members. In the light of the findings of this study, Madhyam Foundation designed a project to be implemented in collaboration with nine selected NGOs from across the state.  Funding for this project was subsequently sanctioned by   the Ford Foundation.
• Study on ‘status of food security in selected villages of Jharkhand (Aug& Sept2007)
  The study was commissioned by World Vision, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand to examine the prevailing status of food security in seven operational villages. On the basis of micro planning in these villages, the study recommended a host of measures to be undertaken by World Vision.
• Base line survey of 47 villages in Jharkhand (Jul-Sep-2007)
  The base line survey was commissioned by Badlao Foundation of Jharkhand in its operation area.
• A feasibility study for undertaking income generation programmes through SHGs The study was commissioned by a network of NGOs, led by Notre dam Social Service Society, Bihar and was supported by Lutheran World Relief, Kolkata. The study, undertaken in four blocks of Sasaram district in Bihar, identified viable income generation activities, to be implemented through five NGOs of the network(Dec07,Jan2008).
• Strategic plan for White Ribbon Alliance-Odisha (Mar-2008)
  The White Ribbon Alliance, Odisha commissioned Madhyam Foundation to prepare a five year strategic plan document. White Ribbon Alliance, an international alliance strives to work towards reduction of maternal mortality across the globe.
